Unit 1. Lesson 1 How do you greet in your country?

Imagen
In Colombia, the greetings are varied and it depends on the people we are greeting.  1. If it's a close friend, we can give him a kiss on the cheek and a hug.  2. To greet a stranger, we greet him with our hand.  3. In a situation where we do not want to give a physical greeting, we can greet him verbally with very typical Colombian phrases, for example: ¿"Qué hubo?" ¿Hey qué, todo bien?" "Cuéntamelo todo" "Ajá y qué?", or we can nod without saying a word and that would be a greatting.

Around the world there are different ways to greet each other, here I show you two ways 1. Pull out the tongue – Tibet Tibetan monks greet by sticking out their tongues and clasping their hands in front of their chests, as a way of saying "go in peace." 2. Sniffing faces – Greenland In Greenland, kunik is an Inuit tradition of putting your nose and upper lip against someone's cheek or forehead and sniffing, and is limited to very close relationships.
